Week One - Write a summary of the class reading book you looked at last term. What was it called? Who wrote it? What was the basic storyline? What stood out for you as its main themes? Would you recommend it to someone else?
I was laughing my head because of a book called Midnite. It was so herlerious. I thougt the bit when Midnite and Khat were drunk it was so funny when Khat protended to be Major. He said that hes flying like Major. The book was a bit sweet. When Midnite thought that Miss Wellborn was so buttiful it was so romantice. In some bits he was put in jail it was a bit funny though because one of the times he was put in jail Majorswooped in and stood on the judges head and protended to act like him it was so funny.
The second time it was a bit nice because O'Grady said he would visit him but after a while he escaped. The third time was a bit wierd but I will tell you. Khat had a plan. He mad a big nest on top of the roof and Major had a bomb. Khat told Midnit to get under the bed so Major threw the bomb and the wall exploded it was funny.
I also read the book called Midnite I also like it. I thought it was hilarious too. My best part was Midnite and Khat got drunk. I liked it when they were talking wierdly it was crazy!
I like it when Midnite goes to jail and destroyed the back of the jail cell that was the best part for me. I can't belive he met the queen.Doron
Week Two - What type of books do you enjoy reading? Do you like funny books? Science Fiction? Scary stories? Adventure? Sad stories? Do you have a favourite book at the moment? Do you prefer to read stories where the main character is your age? Male? Female?
My kind of that I like is a very funny adventure book?
When I read a book like it I just want to read more of it. The kind of funny adventure books that I read are non fiction books like I read the Midnit book.
In the middle of the books that is when it is the most interesting.
At the start of the books you think its going to be boring and dull but as you read more and more it gets better and better it is somtimes can be anoying. But
you will get use to it aslong as you keep reading them. Some of the bits in the funny books it is so hellerious lol. Dean
I like reading science fiction and adventure stories because they always have lot''s of action oin them and there is always something technological to fix in the science fiction stories. I like technological stuff. in the adventure stories there is sometimes nature involved or mythical dragons in some of my books at home. Oh and the Day my bum went psycho book, that is a very funny book
Your most disliked character in a book and why.
The chracter that i dont like in the book Midnite was the Judge because each time he goes back to the court he makes him go to gaol more years each time when he does something rong.
But I also dont like the Queen because shes wanting to dispose Midnite so I really dont like either of them8-(.
I do kind of agree but I dont think he should go in for that long I think he should go to gaol for only six day because he didn't do things that bad.
When he did bad things I was thinking in my head don't do it because I knew something bad would happen each time he did something rong like breaking out of gaol three times the third time he blew up the back of the Gaol8-(
I agree Dean, the Judge always strikes me as a bit stupid. He doesn't listen to Midnite just assumes he's a bad person. Mrs G
What has been your most favourite Justin D'Ath extreme adventure book and why
My favorite extreme adventure book was monkey mountian.
It starts off as a class trip to a volcano to see what its like in real.
After it erupted Sam was left stranded with his teacher Mr. Griffen.
I wonder whats its like to be stranded with a teacher while a volcano
is erupts.
I wonder what it is like to be stranded with a teaher on a
Island.
I really like it I bet the others are going to be great like the
others I hope.
My favourite Justin D'Ath extreme adventure book would have to be Bushfire Rescue becaues it is really exciting and is about robberies and I like hearing about robberies.
I also like how Sam is so brave and goes after the robbers. The robbers try to steel Sam's granfathers prize winning bull. The ending is really cool but if you want to know what happened you have to read the and I reccomend you to read it. Russel Gordon
Sounds cool but why was he trying to catch the robber I guess he was trying to be a hero any way I try to find it and read it 8-P
A book I read was Billionars course it is so Adventuristice.
It is about that theres this kid that has a great aunt that gave him all her money it was 20 billion ponds it was so amazing I was shoked.
The reason she gave it to him is because he is so responsible for the things that he gets.
Another book I read was Deltora Quest it is great should I say it agian it is great.
There are three characters Jasmine Leaf but I forgot the third characters name thoe. Oh well. It is about seven jems they're different colours and they have to collect them all so they can defeat something called the dark shadow lord.The book is very adventuristic. One of the books is called the shifting sands it sounds wierd i know8-P
